Singapore-Indonesia Tech:X Programme:

As part of the Singapore-Indonesia Tech:X Programme driven by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), we are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer from the Indonesian market to embark on this exciting 1 year program with us.

The ideal candidate will also have the opportunity to be part of the Exclusive Tech:X Fellowship Programme which provides you exposure to industry mentors and the alumni network.

 

As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Contributing to the design, development, testing and deployment of our backend services
  • Supporting full software development lifecycle for new and existing features
  • Collaborating with the product and design team to gather the requirements and provide optimal solutions
  • Working closely with the product and design team to understand requirements, provide product feedback, architect the systems, and implement the product from start to finish
  • Collaborating with the QA and DevOps/SRE teams to make quality an integral part of our CI/CD systems, monitor performance, and ensure smooth operation of our software systems
  • Document application requirements, design, test, integration, and other related processes
  • Ensure software development best practices and best-of-breed technologies are used to deliver high-quality software on time
  • Keep up with the latest software technologies and engineering practices

You will be an ideal candidate if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • At least 1 year of technical hands-on experience with product backend development
  • Developed and delivered software system in production environment
  • Experience with debugging and diagnostic of distributed systems 
  • Experience working in an ambiguous, low control yet fast paced startup environment is an added advantage
