We are currently seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing Team in Singapore. 

In this role, you will play a hands-on role in planning and executing social media content that grows engagement, strengthens brand affinity, and supports business priorities. You should be someone who understands social platforms natively, has a strong eye for content, and enjoys turning briefs, trends, and ideas into work that is relevant, timely, and commercially effective.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Social Media Planning & Execution

  • Support the development and lead the day-to-day execution of social media plans that deliver both brand and business impact
  • Manage yuu Rewards Club’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and WhatsApp
  • Plan, create, publish, and optimise platform-native content across static posts, stories, short-form videos, and written copy
  • Maintain a clear content calendar and ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with campaign priorities

Content Creation & Community Relevance

  • Create, curate, and adapt engaging content that is relevant to each platform and audience
  • Monitor social conversations, trending topics, platform changes, and cultural moments, and translate relevant insights into timely content opportunities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to turn campaign, product, and partner briefs into effective social content
  • Participate in content shoots, creative development, and production coordination where needed

Campaign & Partner Marketing

  • Support integrated marketing campaigns by translating broader campaign ideas into compelling social executions
  • Assist in the execution of joint marketing initiatives with yuu’s coalition partners, including branded content development, coordination, and delivery of required assets
  • Work with creative, production, media, and social agencies / content creators to support campaign and always-on content needs

Performance, Experimentation & Innovation

  • Track and report on campaign performance, content performance, social metrics, and partner deliverables
  • Use data and insights to improve content performance and inform future recommendations
  • Support experimentation with new formats, content approaches, and GenAI-enabled creative workflows
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform best practices, emerging content formats, and relevant AI tools

You should have:

  • Around 2–4 years of relevant experience in social media, content marketing, or digital content creation, either in-house or agency-side
  • Proven ability to create quality content that drives engagement, audience growth, or campaign performance
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, content formats, trends, and best practices
  • Strong copywriting and content ideation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and format across platforms
  • Good visual judgment and hands-on familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Familiarity with or curiosity about AI-powered creative tools and a willingness to experiment with new ways of working

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on consumer, retail, loyalty, lifestyle, or app-based brands
  • Experience supporting paid social campaigns or content amplification in partnership with media teams or agencies
  • Confidence in short-form video ideation and execution
  • Existing network with KOLs, creators, or content partners
  • Practical experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Kling, CapCut AI, Canva AI, or similar platforms in content workflows
